Persons entitled to use the Fund’s resources (employees of the UJ CM, retirees and pensioners of the UJ CM) who are in a difficult life and material situation may apply for financial support in the form of a non-repayable allowance.
Non-refundable cash “financial/severe hardship benefit” may be granted in cases that cause a significant reduction in the standard of living. In particular, such events as fire, theft, long-term illness, death of a family member – the closest person (spouse, parents, children) are considered random accidents.
For eligible persons in a particularly difficult financial situation, who are unable to meet their basic needs and overcome financial difficulties in a given period, an “economic allowance” may be granted.
For eligible persons in a particularly difficult material situation directly related to the long-term illness of a member of the immediate family, causing them to be unable to meet their basic needs and overcome financial difficulties, a “special economic allowance” may be granted.
Detailed regulations for each of the benefits can be found in the Regulations of Company Social Activities at the Jagiellonian University – Medical College (in Polish).
The form for the allowance can be downloaded from the Forms Library.
