IT Services

  • CM Computer Center |  manages UJ CM’s IT infrastructure in terms of fiber optic network, wireless network, and central email and WWW servers. Performs network security tasks. It also supervises IT systems in the UJ CM Administration.

Support for users of the University Study Oriented System (USOS)

  • Manuals  | USOSownia is a website aimed at helping you to use the online systems of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Thanks to this site, you can quickly find a solution to a problem related to the operation of USOS-related web services. Documentation of the operation of individual services is provided there.
  • Trainings  | for each new user of the USOS system, we provide introductory training, which covers the basic principles of USOS and issues related to specific tasks.
  • Coordinators USOS  | USOS coordinators should be contacted, among other things, for issues related to the completeness and correctness of data in the USOS system and if a new USOS account needs to be set up in a particular department.
  • USOS key users  | Key users are trained and knowledgeable Jagiellonian University employees who provide support and training to other USOS users.

SAP trainings

  • The SAP Department of the Jagiellonian University organizes training courses on the use of the SAP system in remote form. Training sessions are held through the MS TEAMS application. At the meetings, technical knowledge is imparted on the use of transactions in SAP, or applications on the Information Portal.

Jagiellonian Library:

  • Jagiellonian Library – conducts various forms of training that can be helpful in the teaching process and in the development of academic careers. Classes are conducted by Jagiellonian Library staff and offered free of charge to the Jagiellonian University community.

Open science

  • Lectures and training sessions are organized for Jagiellonian University employees and students to introduce: the idea of open access, the principles of Plan S, NCN’s open access policy, publishing one’s own publications in open access with Polish and foreign publishers, copyright issues in the context of open science (how to secure one’s rights, what copyrights an author has, what licenses to choose, what the different licenses mean), issues related to open publishing of research data: data selection, places to archive data, legal status of data made available in the Open Access model, and depositing scientific publications in the Jagiellonian University Repository.
